Customize Timecard Entry with the TimecardGenie
Chances are your employees are used to using a certain kind of
timesheets. And regardless of how those timesheets are formatted,
you have to transfer the data to the correct areas in your accounting
system. The TimecardGenie makes this work much simpler because it
allows you to control the layout of the timecard entry window in
FOUNDATION construction accounting software.
If you receive a single timesheet per job with multiple employees, set the timecard entry up that way in FOUNDATION. If you receive one timesheet per employee, who may have worked on multiple jobs, set up a different timecard entry window. Sometimes get both? No problem. The TimecardGenie allows you to create an unlimited number of entry screens. When you enter timecards, just pick the one that best suits the timesheet you’re entering.
The timecard allows anyone, from the novice to expert, to define the fields that should be placed in the header and body of the timecard widow simply by clicking-and-dragging the desired fields to the appropriate locations. The entire timecard is customizable; fields can be placed in any order that makes sense to your workflow. You can even place fields on the timecard and protect them by default. This means that data will default and be visible, but users will not have to tab through the field or enter anything in it unless necessary to override the default. All fields can be precisely re-sized, and you can set the tab order for each timecard.
FOUNDATION comes with four standard timecards, which you can
use as-is or as a starting point for other templates. All
timecard templates can be saved, reused, copied and modified. |
