Financial Analyst

Position Summary

The Foundation finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to support its growing Financial Planning & Analysis team. This is an exciting opportunity to help manage the strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting processes. The right individual will have exceptional financial modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, strong communication, and solid business judgment capable of driving organizational results. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Foundation is looking for a self-starter, who is able to work efficiently and autonomously while solving ambiguous, complex business problems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage organization-wide setting and tracking initiatives
  • Assist in the financial planning/budgeting process
  • Compile and review operational plans with leadership
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses
  • Prior experience in corporate finance, management consulting, public accounting, or investment banking is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • BA or BS degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or Statistics), MBA preferred
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  • Strong knowledge and fluency with Microsoft Excel advanced formulas and functions
  • Hand on experience with NetSuite preferred
  • Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills; must be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Detailed understanding of SaaS business metrics
  • Good business acumen
