Professional Bio:

As a client sales representative, Derek works with existing clients to help teach and advise them on new products and services — whether one-on-one or in group webinars. Now in his 7th year in sales and 17th year with the company, he’s aided thousands of contractors in identifying the specific needs of their business, where they can improve, and how FOUNDATION can get them there.

To date, he’s performed over 5,000 demos, attended nearly 35 tradeshows and knows both the industry, the client base and the software inside and out.

Derek began in the Client Services Department in 2005 as a support representative before transitioning to the role of field trainer. As a client services field trainer, he organized and ran pre-implementation meetings with clients, assisted in the initial setup of new accounting systems, trained new users, and assisted with ongoing software support.

Personal Bio:

During the summer months, Derek enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with his wife, Crystal, and their two boys, Jacks and Jace.

Goals:

  • To work with clients for another 15 years and contribute to the continual growth of the company and the Client Sales Department.
